| As is well known, derbies always have their own rules. The first game between Arsenal and Tottenham during the season finish 2-2. After four defeats against the Gunners in the last six games, Tottenham have to be seen as slight underdogs. After being eliminated from the Champions League Arsenal gave a decent response in the league. This was followed by two convincing victories at home against Chelsea 5-0 and at Wolverhampton 2-0 where as we all know, it is never easy. Tottenham's main objective to qualify for the Champions League is at danger. The team is 5th in the table 6 points behind Aston Villa. However, Spurs are with two games less. So nothing is lost yet. One problem is their consistency. In the last five games they have never won two games in a row. Most recently there was a 0-4 defeat against Newcastle United. The hosts have scored at least once in each of their last 25 league home games. On the other hand, the Gunners have not conceded a goal in six away games. For sure both teams will try to win this match at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. |
